Vampire Love...

I have never been one to "get into" something...like obsess or really be a major "Fan" of anything.

I dont follow sports.
Occasionally I will find a TV show that captures my interest, but never anything I watch religiously.
There is no brand I am partial to (my girl friend is like obsessed with Juicy) stuff like that has never been something I get into
okay, I admit I love me a rum and diet coke (R&C), thats about the only thing I have loved for years, but I am not OBSESSED with them, I am happy with a margarita, or a glass of wine, or mojito or something

my point?

Well, in the last few months, I have become completely obsessed with vampire love stories....I feel a little weird admitting this, but if I pretend its not true, I am only lieing to myself

First it was twilight.

I read all the books in a very short amount of time, then I re-read the first one and listened to the 2nd two via audio book on my ipod while I worked out.

I own the movie, the movie is on my ipod, I have the soundtrack, I susbscribe to the website about the next movie, I can tell you whatever you want to know about its production, etc etc etc

then, a girl friend from my work suggested the Sookie Stackhouse series....okay, I didn't think that there was anything that I would love as much as Twilight, but reading stops me from boredom eating so I decided to check it out: I was wrong.

yes thats right I am totally into this series, I read everynight, one night I had a R&C while reading and I dreamed about reading the book......

Its really like twilight (vampire&human love) but written for adults rather than teen girls. It was actually written before twilight, so its not a knock-off, which I was happy about.

Chad and I rented the 1st season and the show is totally awesome. Its VERY VERY racey, so don't watch it with your 12 year old niece or anything like that, but I recomend it. the next season starts on HBO soon, I SO wish I had that channel...I dont want to wait for DVD.

anyways, so there you go universe. I admit, I am obsessed with these stories...will I ever be the same again? I am not sure. At least its helping my waistline.....I seriously eat alot less when I read, so I have been missing out on alot of needless calories. right?

I can't express enough to you how much I appreciate this lovely piece of information...that there is something that exists after twilight. What is the name of the books and DVD series exactly?? And like I have always said...."it is not an obsession, it is a hobby"
