Audrey continues to grow and learn and develop her own little personality. One thing that people always mention when they meet my sweet Audrey is just how independent she is. You could plop her on the floor and she will cruise for hours not really needing anything from you until she is hungry or tired. She has become quite an independent little one.
Food wise, she loves Avocados, Sweet Potato, bananas I would say those are her favorites. I think I might buy some finger foods (like those Gerber puffs) soon to see if she is ready, we will see.
Milestone wise:
She is still a power scooter. The other day she scooted from Brynns room into the bathroom and all the way into the shower room before I realized she was not where I left her...oops.
She has discovered Dakota (Our Jack Russel Terrier) this month and chases him all around the living room to grab onto some fur. Thank gosh Dakota is such a mild dog because he doesn't even flinch when she grips onto that hair. Poor guy!
I would say she will be crawling in the coming weeks. She spends most of her time on her hands and knees try to crawl forward. She will even do the crawling motion like with her feet, but she doesn't do anything with her hands so she doesn't actually get anywhere LOL! Soon enough, better watch out Dakota!
She got her FIRST TOOTH! Actually it was the day after she turned 7 months but close enough right? It was funny because we had just walked in the door at my friend Kellys house when Audrey took a bit on my finger and I noticed a ridge that had broke through.
No wonder she has been sleeping so crappy at night...
I am gonna miss that gummy smile!
in her 7th month, we traveled to Maui and she had her first dip in the Pacific ocean. She was pretty impartial about it, but the pool...she LOVED the pool. We brought her to the pool at my moms country club and she just cruised and splashed and tried to drink it all up.
Audreys got some new accessories this past month, we pierced her ears while on the trip just like we did with Brynn. Audrey cried like one little yelp and that was it. It was so fast, thank god, I had so much anxiety about it (I have a fear of needles).
She just got some teeny tiny diamonds set in gold, you can't really see it unless you are up close. Her little bling is really cute (if I do say so myself)
