Christmas is my most favorite time of the year! I seriously love it! For our family we have already started our own little set of traditions that our children will grow with and celebrate each year.
We have an Advent Calendar that each day I fill with a little task for our family to do. It could be something as simple as sing Christmas Songs or as Busy as go get a Christmas Tree. Its just a fun way to count down to the *Big Day*
We build a ginger bread house.... it looks just like the one on the box :) We made a gingerbread house, well, actually I made a gingerbread house while Brynn cried for Candy...I let her have one gummy and she was hooked. Don't worry, I held my ground!
Every year we take a Christmas card picture. Chad and I have taken one each year since we have been engaged. I save each picture in a special album that comes out only at Christmas. I like to send my cards out the first week in December each year. This year, Brynn helped me address some envelopes...whether I wanted her to or not.
Christmas lights: At night on the weekends, we will jump in the car and drive around to look at the best Christmas light displays at peoples houses. Its so much fun! Brynn loves checking out the lights and when we leave the houses she says "Where did it go?" as is where are the lights? So cute! And Audrey sleeps so soundly in the car...I wish it where that easy for her to go to sleep at home!
